MAC Shop MAC Cook Collection.

Hey Beauties,

MAC have just come out with their new MAC shop MAC cook collection around 2 weeks ago.(In the USA) Now before I even had time to pay for my order the items where selling out quickly. Lucky I got the 3 main items I wanted. Then I did get a Lipstick form ebay 100% real as they had the Nordstrom return label on them (Just incase you need to return the item.)

I'm a sucker for packaging and this had Melissa all over it. Retro, pastel colours :)

The item I picked up was:

  • Two Cremeblend Blushes in Optimistic Orange and Florida.
  • MAC Lipstick in Quick Sizzle (Matte)
  • kissable Lipcolour in Enchantee. Now I did think this was a Lipgloss and I loved the colour so much I had to have it. But I foudn out that its a Liquid Lipstick :)

FOTD: A bold lippy.

Hey Beauties,

Whenever I go for a natural look I always use a bright colour for my lips. That way they pop out and make a statement.

I guess its a rule in makeup whenever you do a bold lip, Cheeks or Eyes you always tone down the rest of your face. That way people are draw to one thing and sometimes bold everything for a normal day would be way too much.

This was the FOTD that I was wearing for my lastest videos :)

Last Friday I was wearing:

Face:
  • Laura Mercier Silk cream Foundation.
  • Bobbi Brown concearler.
Eyes:
  • MAC Eyeshadow in Shroom (Highlight)
  • MAC Eyeshadow in Copperplate (main eye colour)
  • MAC Eyeshadow in Bronze (for the crease )
  • Rimmel Volume Flash Scandaleyes Mascara.
  • Nars Brow Pencil.
Cheeks:
  • Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Laid
Lips:
  • MAC Lipstick in Sant Germain.

Product Review: Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque.

Hey Beauties,
I have been using a few Masques lately some I love and some just don’t do anything at all. But I have been loving the Demalogica Skin hydrating masque.

This Masque is a gel form that once applied to your face it will become hard. This masque helps to restore moisture to dry skin without making your skin oily.

The Masque contains rosemary, hops, cucumber, vitamin A,C and E and pro vitamin B5 helps to sooth, nourish and replenish the skin.

As I’m using some products to help with breakouts some areas on my skin are dry. I use the Hydrating Masque twice a week and I'm loving it :)

Pros:
  • Hydrates the skin.
  • Leaves my skin smooth.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Has a nice cucumber smell.
  • Only need a small amount.
Cons:
  • Price: for anyone on a tight budget this may and can blow your budget.

Rcomendations:

I recommend this for all skin types especially people who suffer from dry and

dehydrated skin.

How to use:

You only need to apply a thin layer to the face and neck. Wait for 10 to 15minutes then rinse thoroughly with warm water. You then can tone, serum, and moisturize.

Cost:

RRP: $61.50 75ml

Where can you purchase:

  • You can buy straight from there Website
  • Any endota spa.
  • Or any salon that sells dermalogica. You can check out their website for your nearest stockiest.

Hey Beauties,

I’m so used to receiving my box a few days after it shipped but now I’m on day shifts I have to wait just a little longer to receive mine.

As you know Lust have it took the month of January off. So with this box once again my expectations were high and I did like this month’s box. But this was not my favorite one.

Product Review: Benefit Sun Beam.

Hey Beauties,

Highlighters are one of the must have makeup items. A highlight adds a beautiful glow to the skin. You can use it 2 ways mix it in with your foundations of add it to places that the sun hits for example noise, chin and about the apples of your cheeks.

Benefit have just released The Sun Beam A golden bronze Highlight. Now as I am a fair skin girl I thought it may be just a tad too dark for me. But that was not the case the Golden bronze is a perfect bronze colour highlight for me. As there is many colours of highlights out there you have pink, peach, champagne and bronze. You just need to search for the right one. Or there are many highlights that suite the same skin tone.

Packaging:

Benefit have always had me stumped as to why there High beam/Sun Beam have a nail polish application. The bottle is fine as this Highlighter is a liquid. But just why not have a mini pump instead of a brush.

Pros:

  • Perfect bronze highlight for me.
  • Blends well.
  • Give a beautiful glow.
  • Easy to work with.
  • Last all day.

Cons:

  • Packaging can be updated.
  • It does feel very wet on the skin before it dries.
  • Too much of the product can be way over the top and can give you a overdose of glowyness.

How to use:

Apply a small amount of the Highlighter on the back of your hand and mix it with your foundation. Or dot a small amount of product to your noise, chin, above the apples of your cheeks and the sides of your forehead.

Recommendation: If you are after a golden Bronze highlighter (perfect for the summer time) I do recommend the Benefit Golden Bronze Highlighter. If you are thinking that it may be too dark for you just head into the nearest Benefit counter and have a try before you buy.

Where to buy:

With Flash.

With out Flash.
