IMATS Haul

Hey Beauties,

Over the weekend I went to Sydney for IMATS also for The ABBW (Australian Beauty Bloggers Weekend). I'm going to split my weekend into 3 parts. IMATS haul, IMATS experience and of course the Amazing beauty bloggers weekend www.theabbw.com .

I did not want to go overboard at IMATS as I just came back form American. But I did get what I wanted and some few extras. Illamasqa had a small rang of products but what they had was great. I had to control my self. For MACPRO they had 20% for everyone and the normal 30% off for card holders. So I picked up want I forgot to get while in America. As for MUF the stand was always packed and I had no chance to get to the front and have a good look.

B Collection New Crackle Top Coat.

Hey Beauties,

B Collection by Bloom Cosmetics is coming out with a new crackle polish. This has been a huge hit this season and will continue. B Collection are going to realise 2 colours white and black on the 3rd of October. I was lucky to get my hands on one Thanks to Belinda from EGPR.

Price:
$12.95, exclusive to Traget

Colours:
Black and White

Application:

Once you have applied you base coat and colour you then add the crackly. You only need to use one coat as if you go over the black/white twice the effect wont work. Different strokes of the brush can create different looks.

Experience:

I have used this once and so far so good. Some crackle polishes don't tend to do a good job. As the crackle effect does not work as good and the leading crackle company OPI.
Below ill show you a picture of how it worked on my nail.

Hope you'r have a great week.

Neon Pink All The Way!!

Hey Beauties,

Today is a new NOTW (Nails Of The Week). This week has been so busy. I am about 80% done with my Makeup/Beauty room. Plus i have just found the perfect Pomeranian. Ill be seeing him Monday week just after IMATS :).
  • OPI Base Coat
  • Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I am loving the top coat. Most products i have tried have not lived up to my standards. Like for the OPI drip dry you still need to wait a few minutes. But with Seche all i have to do its after i apply the top coat on all my nails i go back to the first nail and already its dry :)
  • China Glaze Shocking pink (neon)
This took about 3 coast as it very streaky.

  • Sephora by OPI Only Gold For Me
I had so much trouble getting the right amount of gold confetti on my nails. I think i did about 3 coats then tried to add as much gold confetti on the brush so i could have a even amount. Also the right
amount.

Moroccan Oil.

Hey Beauties

I know this product has been out for a while now. But with most of my reviews I like to try my products until I use up the whole item. That way I can give you a true review.

Today’s review is Moroccan Oil. Moroccan oil ahs become very popular about mind year back in 2010. Now I was a bit hesitant to get on to the ban wagon. As I thought it was a hit or miss item (Girl was I wrong).

Now back in my high school days I never took care of my hair. I always washed my hair everyday, as I felt dirty. I never had anyone tell my how to look after my hair or even to tell me not to wash my hair every day.

So one day sitting at my computer I decided to place a order for the Moroccan oil. this was back in September last year. As I did not want to pay full price. Just in case I did not like it. I decided to grab the mini version 25ml for $26.50 from Catwalk Includes free shipping.

My thoughts:

I use the Moroccan oil every time. I wash my hair 2-3 days a week. I found my hair has never looked or felt this good.  I only need to use a small amount. Even with my hair being so long. I apply it all over my hair but not touching the scalp.

Blow drying has reduced I used to spend a good 20min sitting there blow drying my hair. But now it only takes 10min max. As for the smell OMG for me I love aromatherapy smells and if you walk into a day spa and you can smell all the oils just HEAVEN. This is what the Moroccan oil smells like.

Since using Moroccan oil my hair is softer, shinier, can go longer without washing my hair.  Less time standing in front of the mirror and blow-drying my hair also smell of course.

Ill post some pictures of me when I was 17 and now 21. You can tell the difference straight away. As the Moroccan oil is the first treatment I have ever used in my hair. Beside from a colour treatment mask. I only use this treatment.

Recommendations:

I recommend this product for anyone who suffers from dry hair.  Even all hair types and this works for everyone. Also for anyone wanting a heat protector as this also works to help protect the hair from heat. As for anyone with thin hair Moroccan oil also has a product called Moroccan Oil Light Treatment.

Tips:

With Moroccan Oil a little goes a long way. So you only need a size of a 5cent coin. Even half that if you have short hair.

Price:

If you buy Moroccan Oil online its much cheaper.
  •  25ml $26.50
  • 100ml $52.50
Ingredients:

Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl, MethylPropional, Argania Spinoza Kernal Oil (Aragan Oil), Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract, Fragrance Supplement, D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone

Sephora haul part 1

Hey Beauties,
The wait is over here is my first sephora haul :). My first shop was in Hollywood I was extremely excited I could spot Sephora from a mile away. My heart was pounding I even got john to feel my heart beat lol. Sephora is HEAVEN i wish i could just live there and play all day long. I wish as we all wish that Sephora or a place like Sephora will come here to Australia.

With the price comparison ill compare as much as i can then if its not available here ill pop a N/A next to the item.

                                                                                                               USD       AUD
  • Laura Mercia Foundation in Cream Ivory          $42.00      $82.00
  • Laura Mercia Hydrating Primer                            $30.00       $65.00

                               TOTAL:Includes Taxes                   $337.13       $327.00

I saved a lot as i could only find 6 item prices. If all items where sold in Australia. I would have easily payed close to $500 here.

With all the items with N/A means they are not available in Australian store. But you can get them from ebay or any websites that sell cosmetics.

Hello kitty items and Sephora by OPI are only sold at Sephora store but you can always try ebay.

Swatches: YSL Nude Beige and Illamasqua Dab

I have added some photos of me having fun :)

I'm Sorry about the pricing not being straight. I have been trying to fix it for ages now.
I hope I don't confused you.
Hope your having a great week beauties.

Hey Beauties,

Today i received this months Beauty-Box. When i saw the package the outside was all pink :). I have to love that.  With Beauty Box i have email them as I'm not 100% but with the box you receive a card Ill will put a pic up as i'm not sure if I'm taking this out of content. But one part does say Guarantee ongoing membership More reviews equals more deluxe sample. For me this is a huge turn off. Im paying for the box. But yet i must do reviews in order to receive samples. They may have miss wrote this. Or just reading it wrong??? I know a few other beauty lovers are confused is this.

As for samples ill be using all 5 items. I may keep my subscription going. I just need to find out what the above card means. I love the whole pink theme :) and presentation was great.

Before posting this. I have been talking to some friends on twitter and a few other beauty websites. We have to review each product to Guarantee ongoing membership. Its does state that in black and white on the welcome card. I don't want to be forced to review a product as I'm the one paying for the box. Not happy Jan.

I have the welcome card i can't take a photo as the whole wording wont fit but this is what it does say.
"Give you'r valued feedback by completing our quick online feedback surveys after you try each product, and this will guarantee your ongoing membership"

Such a shame as i like the box and the companies they are with.

Love Melissa
