OPI AutumnWinter Trends 2012

Hey Beauties,

Koren McKendrick OPI Educator and Stylest has Predicted that the Colours for this years AutumnWinter will be rich seductive shades of ruby-red and blue-red, burnt orange, tangerine, rustic pink, dark burgundy, plum & berry purples, eggplant purple, midnight blue, dark forest green, khakis, taupe and dark brown.

I am always the one to go for my light and bright colours. But lately my collection has been getting more dark and different colours that I would not go for.

Now that autumn is here and Winter just around the corner the last days of blights are over and I’m super excited to bring out more colours and not just the same old colours and maybe it’s time to pop the glitter aside till Spring. (Just maybe)

Here is a few colours that Koren has predicted:

Monsooner Or Later, Butch Ya Love OP1?, A Roll In The Hague, Got The Blues For Red.

Monsooner Or Later:
Red with a hint or Orange.

Dutch Ya Love OPI? (Holland Collection)
Purple with Micro Gold. When applied you can barley notice the gold untill you hit the light and gives of a nice rasin colour.

A Roll In The Hague (Holland Collection)
Bright Orange with a yellow undertone.

Got The Blues For Red:
This colour reminds me of a deep red blood :)

What Colours will you be wearing this Autumn?

Valentine's Day Nails.

Hey Beauties,
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day the day of love J
Well both I and John decided not to buy each other anything as we don’t need one day of the year to show each other how much we love one another (we do that every day). Plus I like random surprises.
But I thought I may get in the spirit of Valentine’s Day and do my nails.

Today I am wearing:

  • OPI Base Coat
  • OPI pink friday as the main pink.
  • MAC Vestral White.
  • OPI Teenage Dream. (Pink Glitter)
  • OPI white Shatter.
  • OPI Gettin' Miss Piggy With It. (Red Glitter)
  • Sache Vite Top coat.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow and please let me know if anything exciting happens.

OPI Nicki Minaj Collection.

Hey Beauties,

The wait is finally over :). Like you I have been waiting for months for this collection to come out. I think this collection is one of the most antispated collections so far. Why? Well here is a few of my reasons.

1. OPI comes out with amazing collections.

2. Nicki Minaj is awesome I must say.

3. The colours from this collection are beautiful.

So without further ode I give to you The Nicki Minaj Collection .

Pink Friday:
A baby pink :) (right up my ally)

Pink Friday.

Do It On Em':
Very light green reminds me of the Shrek polish. (My least fav)

Do It On Em'

Fly:
A very dark turquoise. One of favourites from this collection as I have nothing like this colour.

Fly.

Super Base Shatter:
A purple/Maroon colour with shimmer.

Super Base Shatter.

Save Me:
Glitter polish with the main colour silver it also includes holographic glitter. With this polish I only had to apply 2 coats. With most glitters I need at least 3 coats to get the results I want. Out of my whole nail polish collection this is the first kind of glitter I own and I love it.

Save Me

Metallic 4 Life:
This polish is a black base with flecks of silver glitter. This may sound corny but it reminds me of the galaxy.
Metallic 4 Life.

Where to buy:

This collection has not come out in Australia yet. I'm thinking Feb. The collection come out in America this month but there was no set date at all and some stores where getting it on the 1st of January. But when it does come out you will be abel to buy it from David Jones, Petra hair care and any salons that sell OPI.
Cost will be $19.95 for 15ml.

What Colour are you dying for?

OPI Muppets Collection.

Hey Beauties,

In 2011 Glitter nail polish was in and for me its still in.
I love me some glitter on a accent nail. But not so much on all my nails. Just a little too much for me.
But with the new OPI Muppets (as you will see with pics) They contain Chunky glitter and refined glitter.  But 2 are a little different then the others. But ill explain that when I go threw each colour. Of course you can apply a main colour with the glitter over it. Its all up to the individual.

PROS:

  • Great for a accent nail.
  • What girl does not love a little glitter.
  • A change from just a basic colour.
CONS:
  • Is such a pain to remove.
  • Can be a little messy.
  • Can be a little to much of a over kill on all nails.
  • Can be hard to even out the glitter.

Gone Gonzo:
Refined Blue Glitter with Silver Chunks of glitter.
Im not a huge fan of blue. But on day I may use it.

Gone Gonzo. 3 coats
Rainbow Connection:
As you can tell by the name this contains Both refined and Chucks of glitter. Every colour in the Rainbow and more.
Out of all the 6 colours This is my favourite.

Rainbow Connection. 3 coats.

Divine Swine:
Purple Refined Glitter with Silver Chunks of glitter.
This is 3 coats of the polish. But I’m think 4 coats will make it stand out more.

Divine Swine. 3 coats.
Getting Miss Piggy With it:
Red Refined Glitter with Silver chunks of glitter.
Perfect for Valentines Day. But Out of all the 6 colours this has to be my least Favourite colour.
After 3 coats it still looks very opaque.
Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It. 3 coats.
Fresh Frog Of Bel Air:
Green Refined Glitter with Sliver chunks of glitter.
Would have been Perfect for Christmas time. Even better St.Patrick’s Day.
Fresh Frog Of Bel Air. 3 coats.
Excuse Moi:
This colour is very different you could even call it the odd one out.
The main Colour is a Deep pink with Slightly larger Multi colour glitter.
Excuse Moi! Only took 2 coats.

What you’r MUST have glitter polish?

Suzi Takes The Wheel!

Hey Beauties,

I have been very naughty. For the last 2 years I have always had nail polish on my nails. But last week I had no colour Zero not even a hint of colour. I think it was me being lazy as I did lots of extra hours last week.

But this week I do have polish on. It was hard to choose as Melbourne's weather is crazy one day nice and sunny the next day storms. So I went for a camouflage colour.

  • OPI Natural Nail Base Coat.
  • OPI Suzi Takes The Wheel. (Nail Colour)
  • Sache Vite Dry fast top coat.

Suzi Takes The Wheel.

Dusty wanted to get involved in my NOTW.
