Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation Review!!!

At the start of the year I had been hearing many great things about the LM Foundations and even there Tinted Moisturisers. So I held out and waited till I was in America. So I picked up the Primer and Silk Creme Foundation. I never got the Tinted Moisturiser only because I grabbed the Benefit One (Wish I didn't)


The Silk Creme Foundation has become my favourite Foundation I have ever used. They Hype and expectations lived up to what i had read and saw on blogs and youtube. 


PROS

• Medium-Full converge. The Foundation is very build able if your looking for a full coverage and blends extremely well.
• Last all day long with a primer.
• Only need a small amount of product. A little goes a long way. 
• Comes in a 35ml Tube. I had a look at all my Foundations and they are all 30ml so 5ml extra.
• Great for photography as it does not contain SPF. Any SPF in foundation will make you look white like a ghost in any photo even with medium-full coverage and bronzer.

CONS

To tell you the truth I can't think of any but...........

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer.

My good friend Jo http://little-jo-its-all-about-me.blogspot.com sent me a mini size Laura Mercier primer. I fell in love. A few months back Strawberrynet had a unboxed sale on the primer for $11 at the time I did not have much money. So wish I picked up a million (over exaggeration)

I have tried many primers but I always keep coming back to my Laura Mercier Primer. With other primer I find this one to make my skin much smoother. I also find my foundation last all day until I have to take it off at night.

The only downside to this product is the price tag. A full size 50ml will cost $47. If you’re able to pick it up cheaper form any other websites or America.

Laura Mercier primers come in Oil free, Hydrating, Mineral and Mineral primer powder. My next primer ill pick up is the Hydrating Primer.

What is a primer?

Ill break it down so I don’t ramble on and on lol.

A primer is used to prep the skin before you apply foundation to smoothes and even outs your skins surface. Also makes the foundation last longer.

Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Tidecyl Neopentanoate, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Lanolin, Diazolidinyl Urea, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Carbomer, Propylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Allantoin, Retinyl Palmitate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Tocopherol, Cymbopogon Martini Oil, Citrus Auraantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Geranium Maculatum Oil, Honey Extract (Mel), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 40 (CI 16035).
