IMATS Sydney 2011

Hey Beauties,

Around 2 weeks ago I flew to Sydney with Emma for The AABW (Australian Beauty Bloggers Weekend) and of course IMATS. 


What is IMATS:
International Make Up Artistry  Trade Show       
Anyone and Everyone can attend.
IMATS is held once a year Normally in late September 

That morning I was so excited as this was my first IMATS ever. My expectations where very high as I have heard many great things about IMATS. No to forget all the videos and blogs I have seen.


But I was let down a little. Sydney's IMATS was very small. Extremely small compared to the Melbourne beauty expo. They did have cosmetics that we can not get in Australia like Make Up Forever, Ben Nyn and OCC.

• I had a rule if I could get it cheaper off the internet I would not buy it :)

My Experience with MakeUp stalls:
First I went to the Illamasqua stall. I think Illamasqua was a last minute stall. They had amazing bargains.  like foundation for $20 eyeshadows 3 for $30 and Blush 3 for $40. There stock was limited but i could understand if they where a last minute store 


MACPRO 
MAC had 20% off and 30% off for MAC PRO members. As I'm a member i was not to worried as it was packed. But when it did quiet down I went over. They had no Lipsticks at all. Also the stock i wanted they where all sold out for the day :(.


MakeUp Forever
The stall was always packed so i just left it. But with prices you could get them for the same or even cheaper on the Internet.


Inglot
It took me 45min to pick out my 5 pan freedom palette hand it to the lady and then go to the other side to pay. With shadows they would have had 2 of every colour so not all the colours where there as people could keep them on there magnetic board and some where picking out 20 shadows. So I had to pick what was there.


Crown Brushes 
I did go past a few times. But i totally forgot i wanted some brushes. But that stall was always packed.


Speakers and Events:
As i was short for time and only had half a day there. I missed out on all the Speakers. This is free and is held at the one of 2 stages around IMATS. I was abel to have a quick stop at the MAC speaker. But I was all the way at the back and could barley hear. But if I did it all over again I would plan more and be abel to see them all.  


Would I go again?
If i had the money and spare time I would. But if I did miss out next year it would not kill me.

IMATS Haul

Hey Beauties, 

Over the weekend I went to Sydney for IMATS also for The ABBW (Australian Beauty Bloggers Weekend). I'm going to split my weekend into 3 parts. IMATS haul, IMATS experience and of course the Amazing beauty bloggers weekend www.theabbw.com .

I did not want to go overboard at IMATS as I just came back form American. But I did get what I wanted and some few extras. Illamasqa had a small rang of products but what they had was great. I had to control my self. For MACPRO they had 20% for everyone and the normal 30% off for card holders. So I picked up want I forgot to get while in America. As for MUF the stand was always packed and I had no chance to get to the front and have a good look. 

For pricing ill do what i can as some things I forgot to get a receipt for.

IMATS TAG!

Hey Beauties, 


Yesterday i was tagged by Emma to do a IMATS Tag so here i go. 


1. Which IMATS are you attending?
This year ill be attending the Sydney Imats in Australia. Along with a Beauty bloggers weekend THEABBW2011


2. Have you ever been to IMATS Before?
This is my FIRST time :). Im so excited.


3. How are you getting there?
I'm flying up with emma. I know Emma is afraid of flying don't stress hun Ill be here for your. 


4. Are you bringing anyone along?
Im going with emma. Then meeting up with around 80 other Beauty Bloggers.


5. Is there anything else in the IMATS city that you want to see?
We will be getting to Sydney around 8 I think so we have the day to go see everything as I have not been to Sydney before.


6.What days will you be in the city for IMATS?
Ill be there from Friday till sunday.


7. Who do you want to meet?
All the lovely Beauty Bloggers. We all tweet and comment on each others blogs. I cant wait to see them face to face. I also hope that EnKoreMakeup.


8. What companies are you excited to see?
MAC of course, OCC, Inglot, Crown and Ben Nye.


9. What products are you looking for?
Eyeshadows, Blushes, Lip Tars and Brushes. 


10. How much do you plan to spend?
I have no idea how much ill spend. As this is my first time i don't know what to expect. 


11. What do you want to get out of IMATS?
For IMATS I know I'm going to get so much new information. New brands and Up coming products. Im going to be a kid in a candy store. As some products are hard to get access. 


As for THEABBW (The Australian Beauty Bloggers Weekend)
There is so many events planed for us. I just cant wait to see everyone and meet new people who love the same things i do. :)
